Practitioner User Guide

Adding a Patient

Adding a Patient can be performed by both Customer Admins and Practitioners depending on the on-boarding process.

Role: Customer Admin, Practitioner

Menu: Patients

Select “Add Patient”, “Add Manually” (Note: If your practice is integrated to an EHR system, you can chose “Sync from Integration”)

  1. Enter First Name, Last Name, Email (Required). Phone (Optional)
  2. Select a Disease. Note: Only one disease is allowed per Patient
  3. Enter the Medical Record Number (MRN) for the Patient. This is the number that matches with their identifier in the EHR System
  4. Select the Patient’s Main Practitioner (must already exist). Note, this should be the person that is primarily responsible for the patient (Physician), but can also be an associate that monitors the patient on a routine basis
  5. You can decide whether this Practitioner is notified of deviations in patient activity scoring by ensuring the toggle “Notify this Data Viewer of patient activity” is turned on.
  6. Optionally, you can add additional Data Viewers by selecting “+ Add Data Viewer”. This allows others in the practice to see data from the patient as well as gives you the option to have this additional practitioner notified of patient deviations.

Note: You may add as many additional Data Viewers/Notified Practitioners as you wish. This provides flexibility in who is informed about the patient.

Note: For security reasons, invitations expire in 3 days. If not accepted, you can resend a new invitation to the patient.

Resending a Patient Invitation

To resend the invitation to a patient, from the Patient menu, select the arrow next to the invited patient. Select “Resend Invite” from the bottom of the patient record.

Deleting or Deactivating a Patient

If a patient has never accepted the invitation to join mPRO (Invited status), you can delete the patient permanently. This is done by selecting “Delete Patient” from the patient record.

If the patient has ever registered with mPRO (Active status), you cannot delete the patient, but you can deactivate them to remove them from your account. The deactivate option is located at the bottom of the patient record.

Patient Participation Reporting

The Patient Participation tab provides a view of how much patients are using mPRO. Reviewing low-use users and contacting them to encourage reporting of symptoms can help improve the view into patient health.
