Greenville, SC & Nashville, TN – September 12, 2025
GreenCape Health is excited to announce a strategic partnership with Alive, Middle Tennessee’s only nonprofit hospice and palliative care provider. The collaboration will integrate GreenCape’s mobile patient-reported outcomes platform mPRO™ into the practice’s hospice and palliative care model, empowering patients and caregivers to record symptoms and outcomes between face-to-face visits.
This year, Alive proudly celebrates 50 years of serving Middle Tennessee with compassionate end-of-life care, grief support, and community education. Since 1975, Alive has been honored to walk alongside countless families, helping them find comfort, dignity, and connection during some of life’s most meaningful moments
“By integrating mPRO into our practice, we can see symptom and disease activity trends earlier—between visits—allowing us to provide more proactive, personalized care,” said Dr. Martha Presley Tran, MD JD, Alive’s Chief Medical Officer.
mPRO™, developed by GreenCape Health, enables patients to record symptoms, disease activity, and quality-of-life metrics between their face-to-face visits. The platform was validated across three clinical trials over seven years by Daniel H. Solomon, MD, MPH, a rheumatologist and clinical researcher at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA.
“mPRO was built on evidence demonstrating that frequent and longitudinal patient reports of symptoms and quality-of-life measures are essential to providing great care,” said Dr. Daniel H. Solomon, Liang Endowed Chair in Arthritis and Population Health at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, and GreenCape cofounder. “We’re pleased to see Alive adopt mPRO to provide personalized, attentive care.”
